COE is growing! In anticipation of contract awards, we are seeking Mid Level Business Analysts for a range of exciting projects with federal sector clients. We need customer-focused Mid Level Business Analysts (BA) to support projects ranging from the Agile based end-to-end design and development of major systems to large scale organizational transformation and change management initiatives.

This is primarily a telework assignment, with occasional travel to our HQ in Rockville, MD and to local client sites within the Washington DC/Metro area.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary based on level and assignment, but will include the following:

  • Report generation
  • Data analysis
  • Requirements elicitation
  • User acceptance testing
  • Process mapping and improvement
  • Business process re-engineering
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Agile-based project management

 

Experience and Skills

 

Required Elements

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in field related to core service offerings (senior roles may require a Masters Degree).
  • 5 - 7 years of experience eliciting, gathering, documenting, and tracking business requirements.
  • Experience in a rapid paced, time sensitive, high quality environment.
  • Senior roles will require demonstrated leadership and project management expertise.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extremely detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to take little direction and achieve quality results independently.
  • US citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust.
  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
  • Ability to document system processes and procedures in a clear manner.
  • Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • The ability to multi-task, prioritize commitments and manage time effectively.
  • History of ethical performance.
  • Ability to quickly learn and assimilate new skills and methodologies.
