We are seeking a Federal Human Resource Subject Matter Expert to help lead a major federal human capital management support service initiative. The HR SME will serve as an advocate, facilitator, and policy expert on Human Capital issues, and will play a key role in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating HR/HC strategic plans, policies, priorities, and initiatives.

This is primarily a telework assignment, with occasional travel to our HQ in Rockville, MD and to local client sites within the Washington DC/Metro area.


Your role will initially include, but will not be limited to the following:

  • Creating and delivering presentations to senior client leadership
  • Conducting data analysis and preparing reports
  • Developing a Strategic Human Capital Plan
  • Supporting the strategic planning process
  • Providing expertise in key HR/HC functions (performance management, talent acquisition, training and development, classification, etc.)

Experience and Skills

  • 10+ years of successful and progressive experience in human resources.
  • BS degree in related field (MA/MS degree is strongly desired).
  • Experience in human capital strategic and/or outsourcing services, business process redesign, or change management efforts.
  • Project management experience (PMP certification preferred).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and non-disclosure of sensitive information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to take little direction and achieve quality results independently.
  • US Citizenship required.
