About the Role

COE is seeking Data Analysts to help a major federal healthcare agency develop new data capacities.

The ideal candidate is very passionate about helping clients be user-centric, use data to make decisions, and ensure their organization is effective, and efficient. Data will be for internal and public facing use and be used to report to Congress and other senior stakeholders such as agency leadership and medical practitioners. This position will be in a hybrid work environment within the D.C metropolitan area.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: 

  • Responsible for working with stakeholders and end users to develop data capacity, conduct analysis, tell stories with data, and develop and present findings and reports.

  • Conduct data mining, structure and validate, new data sets, develop canned and custom queries, consult with and train client staff.
  • Research and recommend new data sets. 

Experience and Skills

Basic Qualifications

  • Senior level (10+ years) and mid-level (5-8 years) of experience with related educational degrees and certifications.

  • Possesses strong communication (written, verbal, and graphic form) and consulting skills. 

  • Cares deeply about doing what is right and willing to align with an advisory firm who is value based and follows high standards of performance and collaboration.

  • Strong desire to serve clients to enable their mission-centric achievement.

  • Must be skilled in the latest technologies and analytical tools and methods.

  • Ability to effectively present simple to complex data sets in user-friendly way.

  • Ability to use multiple data analysis and visualization tools.
