About the Role

The Center for Organizational Excellence, Inc. is currently looking for an experienced Developer. The developer would be part of a group that designs, develops, and maintains .NET products across web-based user interfaces, middleware applications, services, and customizations to third party applications including SharePoint. Candidates should possess good oral and written communications skills, be a team player, be self-motivated and have the ability to thrive in a multi-tasking environment. The position is full-time, remote.

Responsibilities

The candidate will be a member of a development team responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Involved in the complete software development life cycle.
  • Interface directly with client and build good working relationships throughout all organizational levels.
  • Assess risks and impacts on the existing system as new functions are added.
  • Develop and enhance code in .NET or
  • Rapidly Develop ad hoc and POC applications.
  • Manage and maintain legacy systems.

Experience and Skills

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in one of the following subject areas: Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (equivalent experience will be considered).
  • 4+ Years of related experience in .NET web development, preferably with MVC 2 or greater.
  • Secret Security Clearance - required.
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification
  • Agile Development experience, preferably with Scrum.
  • Strong technical design and development skills in order to provide scalable, efficient solutions to complex business problems supporting over 200K User load.
  • Experience working with a multi-tiered client environment, including development, staging, and production environments.
  • Experience designing new systems from the ground up as well as assuming responsibility for existing systems and provide noticeable and significant improvements.
  • Problem solving skills to troubleshoot business critical systems during outages.
  • Exposure to Open-Source Development Technology
  • Exposure developing on pre-hardened servers, such as DISA STIGs
  • Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
  • Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Able to quickly pick up new technology and perform thorough product evaluations.
  • History of ethical performance
  • US citizenship

  • Experience working in a Scrum environment.
  • Innovative mindset to bring creative industry solutions to the project team.
  • Strong background in cyber remediation of code based on Fortify and SSC Scans
