About the Role

In anticipation of a contract award, COE is seeking an experienced, motivated OPM Project Manager to provide consultation to our federal client. This is primarily a hybrid work assignment, with occasional travel to local client site(s) within the Washington DC/Baltimore Metropolitan area.

Responsibilities

The candidate should apply with proven experience to execute the following:

  • Manage multiple project engagements/tasks, supervise contract personnel interfacing with senior leadership, and ensure the quality of overall project.
  • Provide leadership and executive strategic support for OPM programs.
  • Facilitate strategic and operational planning processes for OPM programs, including tracking progress and key performance indicators.
  • Respond to leadership requests for HRS reporting such as Significant Activities Report and Weekly Activities Report.
  • Possess the ability to create an environment that inspires and champions those who exceed desired results.
  • Lead and integrate elements of complex projects to achieve desired results by setting strategically aligned goals.
  • Assist the customer in determining schedules, in reviewing deliverables, and in participating in project reviews that look across the totality of the customers' programs.
  • Facilitate and lead team discussions and meetings.
  • Manage and control financial and administrative aspects of the project with respect to task requirements.

Experience and Skills

  • Must have prior experience working on federal projects. Candidates without federal experience will not be considered.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, information systems or other related fields.
  • Must possess a strong background in HRIS and management.
  • Must possess a strong background in HRIT and HCM.
  • Must have up-to-date knowledge of, and skills in, the latest management techniques and practices.
  • Proven ability to guide the team to envision and achieve the desired results.
  • Motivate the teams to meet time sensitive demands.
  • Possess strong facilitation and cross-functional team facilitation skills.
  • History of ethical and value-based performance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required and ability to or already possesses a Public Trust clearance.

Target Salary, Commensurate with Experience: $110k - $150k
