About the Role
In anticipation of a contract award, COE is seeking an experienced,
motivated Cloud Architecture Manager to provide consultation to our
federal client. This is primarily a hybrid work assignment, with
occasional travel to local client site(s) within the Washington
DC/Baltimore Metropolitan area.
Responsibilities
This role will include, but will not be limited to the following:
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing to ensure
system stability and performance.
- Provide quality assurance, functional testing, and regression
testing throughout the suite of OPM systems.
- Provide innovative new solutions in the Federal HR space to
provide accommodations to each agency’s software needs.
- Build automation into the development, testing, and deployment processes.
- Support continuous integration efforts in the delivery of software products.
- Design and develop specialized websites for the presentation of
products and resources.
- Being available for occasional deployment/testing work outside
normal business hours.
- Automate manual internal processes using available technologies
(e.g., converting Excel tracking spreadsheets into Power Apps).
- Apply user-centered design principles to improve the workflow,
expand the functionality, and enhance the visual appeal of websites.
- Apply results from user research and usability testing to create
new features and improve current features.
